Descripción: Taq DNA Polymerase is a specialised thermostable enzyme isolated from the thermophilic bacterium Thermus aquaticus. The recombinant form of this enzyme is expressed in E. coli. It is highly processive, recombinant polymerase which catalyses the addition of mononucleotide units to the 3’-OH end of a primer chain. It remains functional even after prolonged incubation at 95 °C. This enzyme possesses 5’-3’ exonuclease activiy.

Descripción: The SARS-CoV-2 (NS7b) peptide pool is a lyophilised mixture of eight peptides from non-structural protein 7b (NS7b) of SARS-CoV-2. NS7b is likely to be phylogenetically associated with the evolution of 2019 coronavirus, and it is involved in human-virus interaction. The pool consists of 15-mer peptides with 11-amino-acid overlaps that cover amino acids 1 to 43 on NS7b.

Descripción: Fatty Acid Binding Protein 3 (FABP3) is a small cytoplasmic protein (15 kDa) that is released from cardiac myocytes following an ischemic episode. Like the nine other distinct FABPs that have been identified, FABP3 is involved in active fatty acid metabolism where it transports fatty acids from the cell membrane to mitochondria for oxidation. FABPs are divided into at least three distinct types, namely the hepatic-, intestinal- and cardiac-types. They form 14-15 kDa proteins and are thought to participate in the uptake, intracellular metabolism and/or transport of long-chain fatty acids. They may also be responsible in the modulation of cell growth and proliferation. The FABP3 gene contains four exons and its function is to arrest growth of mammary epithelial cells. This gene is also a candidate tumor suppressor gene for human breast cancer. FABP3 is a sensitive biomarker for myocardial infarction and can be detected in the blood within one to three hours of onset of pain.

Descripción: Voltage-modulated Ca(2+)-activated, monovalent cation channel (VCAM) that mediates a transient membrane depolarization and plays a central role in taste transduction. Monovalent-specific, non-selective cation channel that mediates the transport of Na(+), K(+) and Cs(+) ions equally well. Activated directly by increases in intracellular Ca(2+), but is impermeable to it. Gating is voltage-dependent and displays rapid activation and deactivation kinetics upon channel stimulation even during sustained elevations in Ca(2+). Also activated by a fast intracellular Ca(2+) increase in response to inositol 1,4,5-triphosphate-producing receptor agonists. The channel is blocked by extracellular acidification. External acidification has 2 effects, a fast reversible block of the current and a slower irreversible enhancement of current inactivation. Is a highly temperature-sensitive, heat activated channel showing a steep increase of inward currents at temperatures between 15 and 35 degrees Celsius. Heat activation is due to a shift of the voltage-dependent activation curve to negative potentials. Activated by arachidonic acid in vitro. May be involved in perception of bitter, sweet and umami tastes. May also be involved in sensing semiochemicals.

Descripción: The dispensers have a PFA coated preventing plunger and barrel from seising together. This enables trouble free distribution of salt solutions, weak and strong acids, as well as bases.

Proveedor: MERCK PRODUCTION CHEMICALS
Descripción: The aluminium oxide crystal structure comprises octahedrally and tetrahedrally coordinated aluminium coupled by oxygen atoms. The aluminium oxide surface is covered by free hydroxyl groups. There are different acidic and basic centers (Broenstedt acid, Lewis acid and Lewis basic centers) that result in anion and cation exchange properties. Aluminium oxide exhibits a higher pH-stability than silica gel, especially in the alkaline range. Aluminium oxide occurs in various crystal modifications resulting in different pore diameters.
