Descripción: The genesig easy DNA/RNA extraction protocol begins with a simple lysis step where cells and tissue are lysed to release their nucleic acid. Then minute magnetic particles are added to bind to DNA/RNA. When placed on to the genesig magnetic separator the particles are pulled to the side of the tube making it easy to remove the unwanted supernatant with a pipette. Then a series of simple wash steps are performed before the DNA/RNA is washed off the beads back in to solution, ready for analysis by real-time PCR.

It is fast, and incredibly easy to perform.

Descripción: Pellet Paint® NF Co-Precipitant is a non-fluorescent dye-labelled carrier compatible with fluorescent sequencing. It facilitates rapid removal of BigDye® Terminators during the alcohol precipitation of cycle sequencing reaction products. Cycle sequencing reactions can be precipitated rapidly with centrifugation times of 10 minutes. The easily visualised carrier provides a simple confirmation that precipitation has occurred. Sequencing reaction products are efficiently pelleted and dye-labelled terminators remain in the supernatant during alcohol precipitation using the standard Applied Biosystems precipitation protocols. Re-suspension of pelleted sequencing reaction products in deionised formamide can be confirmed by checking for dissolution of the carrier pellet.

Descripción: The SpinPrep™ PCR Clean Up Kit is designed for the rapid purification of DNA amplified by PCR. The 10-minute procedure involves addition of a binding buffer followed by adsorption of the DNA to a silica membrane in a spin column format. Following a wash step, the DNA is eluted in low salt buffer. This kit removes DNA polymerises, dNTPs, salts, and >99% of primers so that they do not interfere with downstream applications such as cloning, sequencing, or labelling. PCR products from 100 to >12000 bp can be cleaned up, with recoveries of amplified DNA in the range of 60 to 90% under standard conditions.
