Descripción: Ham's F-10 was designed for use with Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells, and has been shown to support the growth of human diploid cells, white blood cells, and primary explants from rat, rabbit, or chicken tissues. This classical media can be used for serum-free growth of some cell lines including CHO cells. Serum supplementation may or may not be necessary depending on the type of cell being cultured. Ham's F-10 contains a wide variety of components, including zinc, hypoxanthine, and thymidine and is buffered with sodium bicarbonate.
